Receiving $10 does not mean making $10.

Ten fully paid contracts cost 40¢ each, plus a total 20¢ fee. Each pays $1 if the stated condition is confirmed, or $0 otherwise. Assume no other fees or taxes.

The check asks readers to distinguish these amounts before revealing explanations. It also covers early selling, the required settlement source and uncertainty. Seeing this example may help with the check; it is not an unaided assessment.

1. An introduction for your audience. We agree on one reader flow and one misunderstanding to investigate. I’ll tailor the introduction and provide a short facilitator guide.
2. A small, linked pilot. Use the current hosted check with up to five willing adult readers over 14 days. You invite your readers; their availability determines participation. Ordinary unsaved practice needs no account. Any recorded study responses require separate consent and sign-in before starting.
3. A useful review. I’ll summarize the feedback readers agree to share, report missing participation honestly and make one revision to the introduction or explanatory wording. Private journal entries are excluded.

The pilot uses a link to this site. No integration work is required. It has no subscription or automatic billing. It does not include a partner dashboard or access to readers’ private records.

• The issue. One reader suggested shortening the example and giving the understanding check and explanations more emphasis.
• The change. I shortened the example in the public introduction and made the six-question check the main starting action on the website.
• Still unknown. I have not measured whether these changes improve clarity, understanding or repeat use.

Your pilot review will connect the feedback readers agree to share with one wording revision. It will also state participation counts, what is missing and what the evidence cannot tell us.
